MAYA RIVERA Performance Artist and Psychologist, GUSTAVO ÁLVAREZ Performance Artist and Anthropologist, began to act together in 2014, convinced that performance is a ritual and psychomagical action that gives experience a liberating power. Interested in themes such as otherness, violence and ritual, they put their creative worldview into practice to carry out their actions.

They have presented their work in different performance events such as: International Performance Meeting/RIAP (Quebec), InSitu Guanajuato International Performance Festival and InSitu Chihuahua, International Performancear o Morir Meeting (Chihuahua, Mexico), Quebec-Mexico Performance Meeting (Guanajuato, Mexico)

They are interested in the pedagogy of performance, giving workshops in multiple academic spaces such as the University of Guanajuato, the Autonomous University of Baja California, the University of Coahuila, the University of Yucatan, to name a few.

Since 2008 they have organized the Performance Meeting “Perform or Die”, in Norogachi, Chihuahua, Mexico.
