2023: JURY’s MENTIONS : MENCIONES del JURADO

Preliminary words

The spirit of this Festival is investigative, and our CALLS propose an approach with a certain curatorial character to observe the wide field of production of works and the different modes of interaction of performance with the audiovisual field.

Our CALLS are Non-Competitive. All selected works are considered equally valuable. Given the number of works received and selected, this year we decided to carry out analytical CONVERSATIONS with artists of works that were mentioned by the jury in order to delve deeper into their particularities. These CONVERSATIONS, as well as the INTERVIEWS and other live broadcasts that we do, can be found in the CAMPUS section of this page where they remain published openly and free of charge, as well as on our YouTube Channel CINEplusPERFO / Festival Internacional BsAs-AR.

The SELECTED WORKS will remain available until the end of December and will be exhibited again in the VIRTUAL EXHIBITION section during the period of the analytical CONVERSATIONS.

Although our Festival is Non-Competitive, this year’s Jury was invited to generate Special Mentions of works as individual members and/or as a collective in case of unanimous agreement, in order to instigate an enhancement of observation and reading criteria, offering artists a careful consideration of their works. The members of the Jury gave us some reflective words about the works that sensitively mobilized their subjectivity and that the artists will have the joy of receiving.
